About Me

My name is Kelsey Hendrix and I am a PR major currently at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Georgia.  I am unable to be on campus this semester due to a recent automobile accident so I am residing in my hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.  I am taking both Social Media and PR Writing with Professor Barbara Nixon, and this blog is a requirement for both of those classes. So far I am enjoying the “blogosphere” or will so more once I have it all figured out.

A little more about me, I am 22 years old and again, am from Atlanta- born and raised.  I love to be with friends and shop and go out.  I also am very organized when it comes to school. I love being on top of things.  I am always the one with all the syllabi and schedules and calendars.   My other two classes this semester are Intro to Business and World Geography.

While I’m home this semester I’m basically doing all my classes (obviously) but also helping around the house, working out (which I love), and cooking dinner nightly.  I just recently started Weight Watchers and I would recommend it to anyone in need of a new diet. It’s fabulous.  I love the ideas, and their recipes are healthy and delicious! From time to time I’ll post what I’ve made and maybe a picture or two.

I miss all my good friends and roommates at Southern, but fortunately most of them are from Atlanta so I will get to see them when they come home for breaks!

I am an avid “Facebooker” and am now on Twitter.  You can connect with my by clicking on the Twitter bird on my home page.

Good luck to all of you in Social Media and PR Writing and your other classes!

Kelsey, I enjoyed reading your post and learning a bit about you and your interest! First off, I was attracted to your blog because of the header picture that you have. Did you take that yourself? It is beautiful!! Anyways, I am also from the Atlanta-area! I love to go home and SHOP and eat at the wonderful restaurants! It is nice to be in a small town for a few years, but I am looking forward to being back up in the Big City soon! I hope that you have fully recovered from your accident! ☺
